ABOUT PASTOR SPENCER
Latika C. Spencer is a native of Valley, Alabama and was educated in the Chambers County School System. She is a 1989 graduate of Valley High School. She continued her education at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa by receiving a B.S. Degree in Management. In 2001, she obtained an M.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University in Phenix City.
In August of 2001, Spencer began her career with the Chambers County School system as an elementary school teacher. She is currently a 2nd grade teacher at Huguley Elementary School.
After being employed with Chambers County Schools in 2001, Spencer accepted the greatest call to mankind… preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was licensed under the leadership and mentoring of Dr. Bertha Hicks Hodge of O.H. Ministries, in Lanett, Alabama. She is currently under the leadership of Pastors Vernon and Valerie Carter of Berean Church International of Lanett, Alabama. Spencer along with her husband (Wilson Spencer, Jr.) is the Lead Pastor and Founder of Destiny Harvest Church in Lanett, Alabama. She is the proud mother of two children: Joshua and Jada.
Pastor Spencer’s ultimate desire is to fulfill the God-given mandate on her life. She understands that there is great reward for walking in His divine purpose. Nothing gives her joy like seeing others fulfill their destiny. Her spiritual battle cry is the powerful Philippians 1:6 … He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. When she focuses too much on the magnitude of her assignment, God gently reminds of her of his sole purpose for her: to advance His Kingdom through her personal journey, while empowering others to pursue and embrace their own mission in the Kingdom.

Our mission at Destiny Harvest Church is to be compassionate, inclusive and to walk with Jesus. Through winning souls, equipping others for the work of the ministry, serving in the community, and leading in the kingdom, we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. As a fellowship of believers, we have the honor of proclaiming the glory of Christ to one another in a loving and caring atmosphere.

Prayer and worship form the basis of Destiny Harvest Church. We offer a range of services and opportunities to participate. Our calendar includes time allotted for prayer, sermons, and personal reflection, as well as guided Bible study.

Are You Ready?
You are important to God. No matter what you've done, where you've
been, or how empty your life may seem. God is always waiting to offer
hope through the real transforming presence of Jesus Christ in your life.
If you believe this and are wondering: “How can I begin my journey of faith?" The following three steps are a good place to start. It's simple:
1. Admit you have sinned.....
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 )
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us" (1 John 1:8).
2. Believe in Jesus.....
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
(John 3:16).
3. Confess and leave your sin.....
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
You can use the following prayer as a guide:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I'm a sinner, and I am turning away from my sin. Thank You for dying on the Cross for me and thank you for forgiving me of my sin, and accepting me as Your child. Jesus be my Lord, my Savior and the Master of my life. Help me by your Holy Spirit to be the person you desire me to be. I desire to live for You, Jesus. Amen.
